Health services in Pakistan are in the process of development. Specialized healthcare is scarce, especially in smaller towns and villages. We are endeavoring to upgrade the status of healthcare in rural areas, where it is most lacking. Services focused on female population are especially in need for attention, and we have been mindful in our effort to develop them.

Munawwar Memorial Hospital project is an effort to improve this situation through provision of quality and cost effective care, active community outreach programme and local human resource development. The emphasis is on sustainability through local human resource development. The project is overseen by the board of governors. The charitable matters are controlled by the Munawwar welfare Foundation executive body.
